Description
This artwork includes a lot of mixed features. The torn paper collage is a combination of my own paintings and found images that were printed and painted with water and watercolours to add an usual aesthetic texture. The background was a plain white cross-stitch cloth which I hand-painted in acrylic using a mixture of watery blue, yellow, green and muted black and brown tones. Among the various 3-D objects are two vintage cameos. One of which is a handcarved shell cameo with intricate features. I also included one of my own hand-sculpted pieces depicting a Nordic Bronze rune inside a decorative gun-metal bezel. The symbol means; Ingwaz/Ing/Frey (God of fertility.)
This piece is unframed. It is designed to fit into a deep-set frame or could even just be displayed without a frame as a piece of wall art. My signature and date of creation is on the back.
