My art is my world. It is my passion. Although my artistic work was identified as a strength at school, I pursued however other avenues, studying and working in geology and ecology.   I returned to creative interests and painting in 2013. It is clear that my love for the earth, environment, and its formations have influenced each of my series of paintings, including the current ‘Landscape’ collection, which I am exhibiting and selling here with Art in the Heart. I also find inspiration from the countryside seaside, the sky, flora and fauna. My connection with the earth and nature gives a profound sense of spirituality.  I release my own stresses and find happiness through my art. I have a commitment to bringing love, peace and happiness to the viewer and believe I can play a part in countering unkind human behaviours. Painting for me is also a way to assert my own independence and attain security. I paint mainly in acrylic and mixed media and sometimes use gold leaf on canvas and wood. My recent collection shows attention to painterly textures, which I and my followers are loving. Although I have sold my work to collectors all over the world (USA, Europe, Australia and UK), I have an equal commitment to sharing my art in the local community. I have raised money for charity selling my limited edition poppy prints and for example helped out at a local school’s 90th birthday donating one of my paintings, now exhibited. I sell my work in various shops, galleries and online platforms and have a large social media following. Thank you for taking the time to look at my artwork.
