Ed is based in Peterborough and has spent the last decade travelling the UK and Europe in search of abandoned locations to shoot, from Irish lunatic asylums and Italian castles to Belgian chateaus and German sanatoria. As much as he captures the beauty of the buildings and locations themselves, he also captures the stories of the people and lives who are so conspicuously absent from his images.
