Meanmagenta Photography
I have been a photographer since my late teens, I attended a Foundation Degree in Florence, Italy, where I learned both analogue and digital photography.
I moved to the UK where I graduated from the University of Salford, (BA-Design Studies) and after a gap year working as an assistant curator at a Chelsea art gallery, I went on to attend the MA-Fashion Studies at the London College of Fashion.
Photography is my main medium to express my creativity. I use my camera as if it was a diary: I take photographs almost every day to document what I consider worth preserving and also to capture ideas, patterns and unique encounters.
I specialise in portraiture, architectural details and flower photography.
Having trained as a textile designer, I often take inspiration from my photographs to create printed textiles for interiors, home accessories, one-off quilts and cushions.
I have exhibited in the UK, France and Switzerland; thanks to my language skills I am in the position to accept commissions and organise portrait shoots in France, Italy and Spanish speaking countries.
