This  is a fantasy of John Cooper Clark meeting Alice, the wonderland reference is obvious and Beasley Street relaters to one of Cooper Clarks’ best known poems. Of course we should now call him Dr John Cooper Clark, since his punk origins he has gone on to become one of Britain’s best loved poets. The scene depicts Cooper Clark top left with a scene from Wonderland underneath and Alice top right and ” measly seedy Beasley Street under Alice.

  • I am a Norfolk born artist making abstract pictures in oil and mixed media. I am largely self-taught having no formal art tuition since school (but I had a very good teacher in George Tuck). I have been a full time artist for the last seven years. My inspiration is mainly music and literature based and usually bright and colourful (I believe art should make us reflect but should also give an aesthetic to our environment). I exhibit regularly with West Norfolk Artists Association and in 2015 I won the corporate sponsors prize at their summer exhibition. I have also just had my first solo show at the Soul Café and Restaurant in Kings Lynn.
