“Through These Eyes Childrens story book” by Rachel Watts

This little book (21cm x 21cm) is self published, so not your average little book. Each book is lovingly hand finished by me, the artist so that most pages have little surprises ranging from magical snail trails, scented petals and many sensory details to illustrate the places and characters that you encounter in the story. This also makes each book unique. They are all signed as this will be a limited edition publication. Each of the 32 pages are also illustrated with colour photographs of the adventure you share with  me,  and my characters; the Pebble mice, a Snegal and even a Mermouse.

The book comes with 2 gift wrapped  sets of mouse sized tea cups and saucers to help you take tea with Hopeful Lily and a beach combed present from the Mermouse.

Due to choking hazzards this book is designed to be read to children by an adult, it is not for the unsupervised child.(Suitable to be read to children aged 4 to 8 years of age.)

I initially made this book for family and friends, it was very well received and I had requests to make more, so here it is.

Description

I have created this book to be read to a child by an adult. It requires explanations, elicits conversations and encourages interaction both mentally and physically with the charming characters encountered within its pages.
As the narrator, I invite my guests to accompany me on a meandering journey to discover the enchanting world of the Pebble Mice.
A wander that begins as merely sightseeing, gently involves the readers into the story.
My book will hopefully become a shared and revisited treasure. It is not suitable for the unsupervised child. There are things to discover inside these pages.
I found a little brown box today, Lily says it must accompany the book as part of what makes it personal and special. If you are a nosey parker and need to know what it contains then contact me so as not to spoil the surprise for others.

Refund Policy

If your item is damaged on arrival you need to inform me within (one week) of dispatch. You need to send an image as proof. Then you need to send the item back and say whether you would like an exchange or a refund. I shall refund the cost of the postage

  • I am a wildlife sculptor, I describe my work as inspired by nature with a whimsical twist. After Graduating in 3d design, I worked as a commercial sculptor for well known British figurine companies for many years but recently set out on my own with the excitement and freedom that enables me to have. I work from my studio deep in a wood in the fens, where I sculpt in wax, cast in resin, individually paint and lovingly finish each piece. My work is inspired by the creatures who scurry across my path and the magic I find when I follow them.
