These beautiful cards have been produced from my own photography.

Each card comes with a brief history of the windows creation and a description of the image..

These cards are unique for this Cathedral and are not produced by any other supplier.

The most enjoyable part of producing this set of cards was the  photography, research into the history of each window and the creation of each card. This took many weeks and hours of editing front of the computer.

Most of the Cathedral’s original windows were destroyed during the Reformation, however there are still remnants of the original windows in the Lady Chapel and porches. Most of the current windows are Victorian.

Unlike Peterborough Cathedral the majority of the windows in Ely Cathedral have a wire protective mesh at the back of the window, a lot of my time was spent carefully removing the mesh so as to enhance the enjoyment of the cards. The restoration process is something I really enjoy.

The Cathedral’s booklet, Stories In Stained Glass, The Windows of Ely Cathedral by Christine Pownall aided me in the identification and story behind each window.

Each card is approx 210mm x 148mm and 105mm x 148mm when folded.

The cards will be supplied in a white gift box.

I send to the UK and European Union countries. If you live in other destinations please enquire. Items in the UK will be sent first class. Items sent to Europe will be sent by airmail using Royal Mail Services.

Refund Policy

If your item is damaged on arrival you need to inform me within one week of dispatch. You need to send an image as proof. Then you need to send the item back and say whether you would like an exchange or a refund. I shall refund the cost of the postage.
If on receipt of your item you decide you do not want it anymore, you need to inform me within one week of dispatch. You will need to send it back in perfect condition but you will have to pay postage. I will refund you for the item.

  • I am a photographer based in Cambridgeshire, specifically interested in capturing unusual and unique moments, shots which highlight unexpected phenomena. My aim has always been to create images which give deep satisfaction to myself and others. My current inspiration comes from American photographer Kathleen Clemons, whose work involves painterly-style photographs of flowers using soft focus techniques and lenses. Currently, I have work displayed online with Art In The Heart Market Place,  and on display in Peterborough Cathedral, Peterborough Museum and The Gallery Stamford, Lincs. I am a Peterborough Open Studios exhibitor and have had work displayed in Peterborough Museum. I was also involved in the stills photography for Charron Pugsley-Hill's installation work the Edith Cavell and Lonely Anzac blankets. In addition to my art photography, I specialise in photo restoration. I donate a small amount from the sales of my photography and have raised in total £2000 approx (over twelve years) for Sue Ryder Hospice, Kidneeds, Combat Stress, Cruse Bereavement Counselling Charity, The Light Project (support for the homeless in Peterborough), The Salvation Army ( local projects), Wood Green (support for abandoned pets) and the Peterborough Cathedral 900 Fund so far.
