Walking in the Fens, surrounded by grasses and reeds, sunsets are so generous here in their colour and depth, filling the big skies of Suffolk and Norfolk.

Framed in a simple black lacquered frame.

Painted on stretched canvas, approximately 12 x 16 inches.

Overall frame size is approx 17’3 x 13’3 inches.

    I paint primarily in acrylics and oils, and am inspired by the scale, light and mood of the landscape and our environment, trying to capture the emotion of a given moment in time and place.  Oh, and also our dog, she inspires me daily!  I currently live in London, and particularly during these times, want to celebrate the people, places and things that I'm grateful for and familiar with, that I can call to mind to calm, comfort and inspire.  Nature, wildlife, our landscape, memories of travels and holidays past, flowers in the garden, my local park, painting memories and day-dreams.
