I’m a trained technical illustrator and painter, devoted to the study of art, and have produced hundreds of pieces over thirty years. I create unique, arresting, and often challenging images that compel with form and colour. I largely work with canvas, brush, and oil, but will use whatever is necessary: acrylic, resin, dirt, hair, and even dead flies. I am inspired by all art history, most notably impressionism and surrealism, but am also very interested in contemporary painting, producing a large body of abstract expressionist work.
