Description

A one off piece. I like to find unusual things to add my glass designs to and thought this vintage bobbin would be perfect for a little glass mouse with a curly wire tail. I love making and adding leaves to my pieces too, each one is attached with and to silver plated wire and can be bent to capture the best light. It’s free standing so ideal for a windowsill or table to catch the suns rays.

It measures 12cm x 10cm (approx) and will be sent by Royal Mail signed for in a strong box with bubble wrap.

Ready to ship in 1-3 business day from United Kingdom (UK)

  • I’m a professional artist using glass as my medium. I’ve always loved coloured glass and the way it reacts to light and the seasons and find it almost magical. As you’ll see from the photographs of my work everything is hand made using traditional techniques that have hardly changed over the years. Every piece of glass no matter how small is carefully selected for each design. It’s then cut, ground, copper foiled or leaded, soldered and finished. I find inspiration from all things but especially nature and it is always my aim to create pieces in my own distinctive delicate style.
