The Red Mule Deer was inspired from my passion of wildlife and animals. Also, I thought it would be a lovely card to create for the winter season.
Dry point etching is a technique into which you inscribe the image into a plate with a sharpe tool. Once completed the plate is covered in ink, filling the image areas and lines on the plate. The ink is wiped away carefully so the ink remains in the inscribed areas only. The plate is then printed on damp paper with an etching press. This is from one of my original etchings which I have printed onto cards. It is an ideal accompaniment to a gift for family, friends or anybody who loves animals. You could even mount one onto a small frame as a keepsake.
This set includes five Red Mule Deer Cards. They are blank inside and have details of the art and information printed on the back.
