Description

Making felted bowls is one of my favourite ways to felt. The design is laid inside out on a balloon filled with water. Lots of layers of wool, silk and skeleton leaves are added. Then the piece is felted by lots of massaging and bouncing. Once felted, a hole is cut and it is turned inside out. The peacocks were needle felted on to the surface once it was dry.

This is a piece of decorative art. If you wanted you could put potpurri in it or a small glass jar with flowers in it. I tend to display them on my shelves. I’ve heard they are a great place to hide your chocolate stash too.

The bowl is 18 cm high with 9 cm diameter opening. It will be shipped filled with bubble wrap and inside a box.
