Description

Lino cutting is a printmaking technique in which a sheet of linoleum is used for relief surface. A design is cut into the linoleum surface with v-shaped chisel or gouge, with the uncarved areas representing a mirror image of the parts to show printed. The linoleum sheet is inked up with a brayer, and then impressed onto paper.

Six unique gift tags with a hand-made original print on the front of the tag.  The back is blank on the other side so that you can write your own message.

  • I enjoy developing my work so that my paintings and etchings can speak to both me and to others. I am influenced by the elements of design: colour, texture, shape, line, value and direction. In 2015 I completed an advanced printmaking course, where I explored different printing techniques. I continue to explore my passion in printmaking through practice and deeper study. I exhibit and sell my work from my home studio and also exhibit in the Summer Open Studio's event each year. This year I am exhibiting my Art, in the Art in the Heart shop window in Westgate arcade.
